Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MarkitFixed Ltd is the data controller for personal data you provide when using the Service. Contact: privacy@markitfixed.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, company.
• Project data: estimates, rates, drawings, client details you enter.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store subscription status, not card details.
• Usage data: pages visited, errors, basic analytics.

3. Why we use it

To provide the Service, send service emails, prevent abuse, and improve features. We do not sell your data.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

Performance of contract (providing the Service), legitimate interest (security and improvement), and consent for optional marketing emails.

5. Sub-processors

• Supabase — database and file hosting (EU region).
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Cloudflare — hosting and CDN.
• Resend — transactional email.

6. Retention

Project data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, project data and uploaded drawings are deleted within 30 days. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by Irish tax law.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email privacy@markitfixed.com or use the "Delete account" option in Settings. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Passwords are hashed and checked against the HaveIBeenPwned database. Access is restricted by row-level security.

9. Changes

We'll notify you by email of material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
